Introduction:
Research by the corporate executive board shows that only 27% of finance transformation efforts deliver sustainable benefits. These are bleak findings that are probably much worse in complex organizations. Especially global manufacturers, where it becomes increasingly difficult to achieve key objectives, examples of which are shown below in Exhibit 1.
